OUR StorY

The residence has always belonged to the Errera family, who have been present on the island since the 17th century. It is perhaps the only historical establishment that has remained intact on Pantelleria. It was also once home to Dr Alfonso Errera, a 19th century doctor and benefactor. His marble bust can be admired in the square in front of the Barbacane Castle. The residence has been carefully restored, respecting the ancient construction techniques of the Dammusi and using traditional materials.
