THE RESORT

Pantelleria 1875, this is when the upper floor of the historic Palazzetto Errera was built, while the ground floor and the ancient Dammuso, located in the garden, date back to 1700.

The building is now home to Resort Acropoli. A skilful and rigorous room renovation has kept the charm of the old residence intact, all while capable of seducing guests by enveloping them in an intriguing and magical atmosphere. The main building, which has remained unchanged over time, is equipped with two floors and comprises four flats; two others, one of which is free of architectural barriers, are autonomous and located in the garden. All the apartments are built with a perfect Pantelleria Dammusi style in mind. Discover large walls made of stone cut by hand, vaulted ceilings and domed roofs. We are situated in the locality of S. Francesco, a stone's throw away from the Phoenician Acropolis of ancient Cossyra and from the archaeological area of the hills of S. Marco and S. Teresa where important finds from the Roman era have been discovered (the three marble heads of Julius Caesar, Agrippina and Titus are the most famous) with a wide view of the port and the urban area of Pantelleria. At sunset, it is possible to catch a glimpse of Africa and the Tunisian mountains on the horizon. Easily reachable from the airport and the port, the resort boasts a swimming pool with hydromassage, Turkish bath and a large garden, where it is possible to admire the remains of an ancient Roman-Carthaginian building in an excavation.
